Review site Yelp has given Philadelphia five stars when it comes to shopping local.
In a list of the best gift-giving cities in the country, Yelp ranked Philadelphia at the top. To calculate the rankings, the website had to analyze millions of reviews to see which businesses in popular holiday-shopping categories mentioned the word "gift" most often.

In a season of giving, Philadelphians enjoy an abundance of local shops with unique and charming goods. Reading Terminal Market is marvelous all year round, and a new Holiday Market just opened at Dilworth Park to complement the nearby Christmas Village at LOVE Park.
