Philadelphia residents watched from their windows as snow quickly piled up in their yards and on their front stoops from Friday night into Saturday morning. According to the National Weather Service, Winter Storm Jonas dumped 22.4 inches onto the city.

While the snow fell relatively quickly, it still took longer than a day for the white powder to accumulate, but one Philadelphia resident has provided a look at how nearly two feet of snow falling in 30 seconds looks like.

Dan Glod posted a time-lapse video on YouTube of the snow falling in his Philadelphia backyard. In the video, you can see the precipitation completely engulf a trash can as it grows higher and higher. Watch the video below:
