For all the careful planning and astronomical costs that go into the making of a dream wedding, nothing really puts the cherry on top like a good surprise.
At Saturday night's reception for Delaware County residents Lisa White and Paul Getz, held at Cescaphe Event Group's Vie on North Broad Street, none other than country sensation Tim McGraw made an appearance to serenade the newlyweds.
Invited by Lisa's father David, the guest star emerged just in time for the ceremonial father-daughter dance. McGraw then kicked the wedding into another gear as guests took their excitement to Twitter.

Celebrities have lately been a romantic boon to the greater Delaware Valley. Last year, Taylor Swift's performance at Lincoln Financial Field marked the occasion of a wedding between South Jersey superfans Katy Harris and Chris Eisenmann. Swift also served as maid of honor in her friend's Pennsylvania wedding back in February and performed in June at a wedding in Long Beach Township.

It's not just country and pop stars, either. In the midst of one of his marathon sets at MetLife Stadium, Bruce Springsteen on Thursday stopped the music to let a man propose to his now-fiancee. Fittingly, he followed the special moment with a performance of "Jersey Girl."
In the end, what matters is that the bride and groom are happy as they embark on their marriage. Not too many people get to casually post photos like this on what was already stacked to be the best day of their lives.
Did Tim McGraw play at my wedding? You know he did. pic.twitter.com/yL8uTHjwXN
