All eyes were on Lady Gaga Sunday night as she bravely accepted the task to perform solo during the Super Bowl LI Halftime Show at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.
The talented mega star was more than up for the challenge and delivered a captivating 13-minute production - complete with backup dancers, drones, fireworks, a light show and fire.
In the current overcharged political climate, some - including the oddsmakers - believed Lady Gaga would make some kind of statement. While the singer definitely had a message, the performance wasn't overtly controversial.
Lady Gaga began the show on the roof of the stadium with a patriotic theme - singing a rendition of "God Bless America" and "This Land Is Your Land" - before diving headfirst to the field to run through her original songs.

Her full setlist included:
• "God Bless America"
• "This Land Is Your Land"
• "Poker Face"
• "Born This Way"
• "Telephone"
• "Just Dance"
• "Million Reasons"
• "Bad Romance"
