Everybody hates traffic. The only thing everybody hates more than traffic is people who feel that it doesn't apply to them.
That appears to be the mindset of a driver who was recently caught cruising along the shoulder of U.S. Route 1, according to a video posted on YouTube late last month.
During a rainy commute, one driver in the left lane captured the offending car on video as it zipped past a clogged right lane. The driver seemed to be saving himself lots of precious time until a police officer noticed what was going on and turned on his flashers.
At that point, one commenter colorfully notes, the driver flicked on his left turn signal to indicate that he was done breaking the law and this was all just a silly misunderstanding.
There was no word on what ultimately came of the flagrant road foul.
What seems to be the officer, problem?
