Throughout the season, Joel Embiid has heard the nickname that he embraced before the season chanted when he goes to the free-throw line. The Wells Fargo Center crowd will often chant “Trust the Process” when the rookie big man shoots fouls, and Embiid generally soaks in the scene:
But that’s in Philadelphia. The TTP chants are apparently moving to the road now.
With the Sixers taking a trip up I-95 to Boston, they’re currently locked in a competitive contest with the Celtics. Embiid is playing a strong game, with 17 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists (but 5 fouls) at the moment. And at the end of the first half, Embiid heard a familiar phrase when he went to the line:

Usually, it’s Boston fans (particularly the Red Sox) that take over in enemy territory. But maybe Embiid will start to give the Sixers an improved road presence.
