The body of a 65-year-old woman was found Monday morning in Temple University's Gladfelter Hall.
According to Brandon Lausch, a spokesperson for the college, the body of an employee of the university was discovered in an office on the ninth floor of Gladfelter Hall, a social sciences building on Polett Walk on main campus.
For some time Monday, he said the floor was closed to students as medical professionals tended to the body.
There appears to be no signs of foul play, but the city medical examiner will investigate the cause of death, Lausch said.
"Nothing appears suspicious," he said.
Lausch declined to identify the woman or discuss details of her employment at the school until the woman's family can be notified.
