"Can you guys maybe steal ONE game without me?"

The NFC East is trash. The Eagles can't catch the ball. Or throw. The Giants are on pace to give up the second-most yards in NFL history. Dallas has lost five consecutive games and is beginning to look like a five-alarm tire fire. And the Redskins are the Redskins.

In Week 8, the Eagles and Redskins each had byes, while the Cowboys and Giants both lost very winnable games. The path to NFC East "supremacy" could be a race to eight wins. Maybe even seven wins with some tie-breakers will get the job done. Let's take a look at the NFC East teams' remaining schedules, starting with the division leading Giants:

GiantsWins Losses

Patriots  7
 At Redskins 3
 Jets 4
 At Dolphins 3
 Panthers 6
 At Vikings 5
 Eagles 3
 TOTAL (.618) 3421

The Giants have the toughest remaining schedule in the NFC East, which includes two undefeated teams in the Patriots and Panthers. Every team left on the Giants' schedule has at least three wins.

 Dolphins
 Buccaneers
 At Lions
 At Patriots
 Bills
 Cardinals
 Redskins
 At Giants
 TOTAL (.485)32 34

The Eagles only have two teams left on their schedule with winning records, the Patriots and Cardinals. Additionally, their next four opponents have a combined record of 9-20.

RedskinsWins Losses
 At Patriots
 Saints
 At Panthers
 Giants
 Cowboys
 At Bears
 Bills
 At Eagles
 At Cowboys
 TOTAL (.516)33 31

Like the Eagles, the Redskins have just two games remaining on their schedule against winning teams, although those two teams are both undefeated. The Skins' next five games are going to be very challenging. Their next three opponents have a combined record of 17-4, followed by a Giants team they haven't beaten since 2012 and a Cowboys team with a likely healthy Tony Romo.

CowboysWins Losses
 Eagles
 At Buccaneers
 At Dolphins
 Panthers
 At Redskins
 At Packers
 Jets
 At Bills
 Redskins
 TOTAL (.548)34 28

The Cowboys have six games against 3-4 teams remaining on their schedule. Because of their first place finish in the NFC East a year ago, they draw the Packers while the rest of the NFC East teams get far weaker NFC North opponents. Tony Romo is not eligible to return until their road game against the Dolphins.

Here's a snapshot of each teams' combined remaining schedule:
