The past two seasons, the Sixers have gotten a taste of the shore in September, holding training camp at Stockton University.
With Ben Simmons, Dario Saric, and Joel Embiid now in the fold, Stockton’s athletic director (via the Press of Atlantic City) said the Sixers are heading back to Galloway Township, New Jersey for a third consecutive year, from September 27th to 30th.
The news comes at around the same time that the Sixers officially announced their seven-game preseason schedule, which features four televised contests:
Date | Opponent | Arena | TV |
October 4th | at Boston | Mullins Center (UMass) | CSN |
October 6th | vs. Washington | Wells Fargo Center | CSN |
October 8th | at Cleveland | Quicken Loans Arena | None |
October 11th | at Memphis | FedEx Forum | None |
October 13th | at Washington | Verizon Center | TCN |
October 15th | vs. Detroit | Wells Fargo Center | TCN |

Your two chances to see the Sixers at home come on Thursday the 6th and Saturday the 15th. They will open up the regular season on Wednesday, October 26th in a nationally televised game against Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
