Nik Stauskas was on a Calgary television station promoting awareness for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, and after he was done doing that, they put him to work. The Sixers’ new shooting guard stepped in front of the green screen and read Western Canada its weather:
Some highlights of the video include:
• Stauskas admitting that he has never heard of Fort McMurray (to be fair, I haven't either) and then remarking, “Negative three, that’s pretty cold, man.”
• Stauskas telling the people of Calgary, “It was a pretty chilly morning, I’m not going to lie.”
• Stauskas looking at the cloud pattern and saying, “West Coast, you know there’s a little bit of action going on.”
That’s some pretty good YouTube right there. And once training camp starts, he's coming after you, Hurricane Schwartz. Best step your game up as well, Cecily Tynan. Local meteorologists probably thought they caught a break when J-Bo started doing real estate and then, boom, Sauce Castillo is here to change the game.
