The Sixers news of the day (and probably the year) is that the blockbuster trade with the Boston Celtics at the top of the 2017 NBA Draft is officially official, which clears the way for your Philadelphia 76ers to select University of Washington guard Markelle Fultz with the top overall pick.
Just like many Process trades, there are crazy pick protections that Bryan Colangelo and the Sixers front office did well to negotiate. We also talk about the details of Fultz’s last-minute workout on Saturday in Philadelphia, what this pick means for the Sixers in free agency, and oh yeah, what type of player the Sixers are getting in Fultz (hint: decent).
