Even though the shorthanded Sixers have been playing some good basketball lately (seriously, how about that shellacking of the Dallas Mavericks Friday night?), I think it’s safe to say that we’re at a part of the NBA calendar where interest is down.
That doesn’t mean there isn’t a total lack of topics to talk about over at Sixers Beat HQ.
Derek Bodner of Godner.com (and now The Ringer!) and I sat down to chat about my RED-HOT Lakers take from the other day. I think it’s safe to say that we’re aligned on this topic. Other subjects that got discussed were:
• Who do we think is going to start in the Sixers frontcourt at the beginning of the 2017-18 season? Has Dario Saric’s play made us rethink the idea of putting him in the starting lineup?
• Nerlens Noel’s return to Philly
• Joel Embiid hitting up a pretty random orthopedic surgeon convention in San Diego
As always, if you like the Sixers, this is one of at least five podcasts for you.
