Less than a month to go to the draft, and we should definitely have some fun podcast topics in store over the next few weeks.
Derek Bodner and I got together to walk through one scenario: If the Sixers select Ben Simmons, what does the rest of the offseason look like? Would we trade Jahlil Okafor to Boston for the third pick in the draft? Who would we take at No. 3 if that did happen (and more importantly, who would Bryan Colangelo take?)? What would the philosophy be at picks 24 and 26? What about free agency?
(On the next podcast, we’ll talk about what happens if the No. 1 pick is Brandon Ingram.)
We tackle all of those questions, while also raising a few more along the way. Oh yeah, we also talked about Mike D’Antoni’s departure for a few minutes at the very end.
