The Temple Men's Basketball team will likely be without freshman guard Trey Lowe for the rest of the season after he was injured in a car crash Sunday morning.
The school announced Tuesday Lowe is receiving care at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey, for upper body injuries sustained from the one-car accident.

Further details about the crash were not released. Head coach Fran Dunphy said he visited Lowe in the hospital and was hopeful he would make a full recovery.

Lowe, a native of Ewing, New Jersey, has averaged 4.8 points per game this season. He racked up a career-high 21 points against then-No. 1 Villanova in a losing effort.
