Gunshots rang out Tuesday night in South Philadelphia, leaving one man in critical condition and killing 21-year-old Angelo Colon, Philadelphia-born rapper Meek Mill's cousin.
Police responded to a call shortly before 10 on the 1800 block of Snyder Avenue. Colon, whose identity isn't being confirmed by police but revealed as the rapper's cousin by 6ABC, was shot in the head.
The other victim, 27, was transferred to Jefferson Hospital after suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his legs.
Late Wednesday morning, Meek Mill posted a photo on Instagram of an unidentified family member with a caption that in part, read: "Damn Lo! Watching my family die to these Philly streets! Probation is the only thing that got me tied to come coming back here so frequent!!"
