January 04, 2017
On Jan. 21, Penn Museum will host its 36th Annual Chinese New Year Celebration. There will be tours, demonstrations, crafts and other family-friendly activities leading up to the Lion Dance finale.
There are also a few new components to the day.
Attendees will have an opportunity to go on a zodiac tour of the galleries in search of artifacts featuring the 12 animals that make up the Chinese zodiac. 2017 marks the Year of the Rooster.
