Free pitas had 19th and Market streets packed Thursday afternoon to mark the grand opening of Naf Naf Grill's Center City location, a surefire destination for seekers of fast casual Middle Eastern food.
The expanding Illinois-based chain launched in lavish style after last week's free pita announcement.

And as if free food is not enough of an enticement, the store had the Phillie Phanatic and the Villanova University band on the premises to get the word out.
Naf Naf Grill specializes in pitas and bowls, giving customers a mix-and-match approach with chicken or steak shawarma and falafel. From there, you pick your salads, garnishes and sauces. Lentil soup, Naf fries and basmati rice are also on the menu.
Additional Naf Naf Grill locations are planned for Malvern and Marlton.
Add this one to the list of shawarma spots to check out in Philly.
