Former Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter was none too happy when Bernie Sanders came to his city and criticized his choice for president, Hillary Clinton.
After Sanders called Clinton "unqualified" to be president at a rally at Temple University on Wednesday, Nutter went on the warpath with a series of tweets posted close to midnight.
Tonight @BernieSanders said .@HillaryClinton wasn't qualified to be President. THIS is LOW and crosses the line. Take it back, Senator.

.@HillaryClinton is #morethanqualified to be POTUS, & @BernieSanders is actually attacking .@POTUS thru Hillary. Shame Senator, take it back

.@BernieSanders talks to NY Daily News, can't even explain HIS OWN PLAN to "break up banks", & has the nerve to talk about "qualifications"?

The last tweet is a reference to an interview Sanders had with the New York Daily News on Friday, where critics say he fumbled his response to questions about his plan to break up big banks like JPMorgan and Citibank.
Nutter has been a longtime Clinton supporter, going back to when he endorsed her over Barack Obama in the 2008 primaries. He's now a commentator on CNN and hasn't held back from criticizing Sanders on air.
Meanwhile, fellow Clinton supporter Jim Kenney has stayed out of the fray, making no comments on either one of his Twitter feeds.
