Least-liked governor in America?
If you immediately thought of New Jersey’s Chris Christie, you'd be correct.
The Republican wanna-be sports radio commentator and one-time presidential aspirant, has a 69 percent disapproval rating in the Morning Consult Governor Approval Rankings. His approval rate is 25 percent.
Just 6 percent of those polled had no opinion.
The rankings were based on interviews with more than 195,000 registered voters across the United States from April 1 through July 10.
That means some New Jerseyans polled were not interviewed after he and his family planted themselves on the beach at Island Beach State Park over the Fourth of July weekend – on a beach he had ordered shut to the public due to a budget impasse.
Christie flew to the beach via a state helicopter.
Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf is also unpopular, with about 37 percent of residents disapproving of the Democrat. About 48 percent approved of his performance.
That said, Wolf's disapproval rate is decreasing. In April's Morning Consult poll, it was at 43 percent.
