Coffee and beer lovers, unite: Shake Shack, La Colombe and Yards Brewing Company have teamed up for one epic collaboration. Together, they've brewed up a coffee stout (of course) to both satisfy the Philadelphia area and contribute to a good cause.
Available while supplies last beginning Friday, Jan. 8, the coffee stout, a dark ale brewed with roasted malt, was made with La Colombe ethically sourced coffee beans with notes of lavender, orange and caramel.
But let's get to the important information: The brew will be sold for $5.75 at all the Philadelphia Shake Shack locations (that's Center City, King of Prussia and University City) as well as at Yards' tasting room in NoLibs and La Colombe's Fishtown flagship.
Even better: $2 from each beer sold will go to the Mural Arts Program. (It's the Center City Shake Shack's official charitable partner.)
Considering how popular Shake Shack, Yards and La Colombe are in Philly, we have a feeling that "while supplies last" won't be all that long.
