For today only, everyone gets to sample a Philadelphia delicacy for free.
Philadelphia Pretzel Factory is giving away one free soft pretzel per customer on Sunday, April 26. The deal is a part of National Pretzel Day, which was made an unofficial holiday in 2003 by Governor Ed Rendell to celebrate the food's history in the state.

You can grab a free pretzel at any of the locations, which there are obviously plenty of in Philadelphia. There are also some similar deals at other pretzel makers. Pretzel Time, which has locations in Allentown, will hand you a free pretzel if you utter the following phrase, "Pretzelmaker prepares perfectly pleasing pretzels for National Pretzel Day!"
Auntie Anne's is also is handing out free pretzels, but only if you downloaded their mobile app already.
