A former vice president at Comcast, who was once named a “rising star” by the company in 2014, took a guilty plea deal in the ‘up-skirt’ case that startled female SEPTA train commuters in 2015.

Using his company-owned smartphone, Tighe of Tredyffrin was accused of taking inappropriate images of female passengers boarding the train.

Arranging a plea deal with Assistant District Attorney Andrea Cardamone, Tighe will serve two years’ of court-supervised probation and is subject to sex offender and mental health evaluations.

Tighe also is prohibited from riding the SEPTA R5 commuter line trains riding in and out of Philadelphia during morning and evening rush hours.

Authorites said on Sept. 18, 2015, Tighe boarded the train at the Stafford Train Station in Tredyffrin and snapped a photo of a woman who boarded the train before him. Another commuter caught Tighe in the act and called him out. Tighe tried to leave the station before throwing his phone into a nearby wooded area.

Once cops arrived on the scene, he gave authorities permission to scan his phone, and they found numerous videos “up-skirt” videos saved on the phone and took him into custody.
