No. 1 overall pick Ben Simmons looked good in the Sixers' Summer League debut Monday, racking up 10 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in a loss to the Boston Celtics.
Simmons would leave the game in the third quarter with cramps after initially playing though the pain. No big deal, since it doesn't seem like a serious issue and Summer League basketball is rather meaningless other than getting some early work in for the young guys and giving some fringe players a shot at making the roster.

But if you'd only been following the Celtics' official Twitter account during the contest, you might have thought it was Game 6 of the NBA Finals. Whoever runs the account seemed a bit salty about losing out on the No. 1 pick to Philly, instead getting the No. 3 pick and California forward Jaylen Brown (h/t CrossingBroad):

Apparently, Boston is still feeling the sting of missing out on the Aussie phenom, a pain that was best summed up by Celtics superfan Bill Simmons' draft-night tweets:
My son just asked me to go online and buy him a Ben Simmons/76ers jersey. This entire draft has hurt my feelings.

My son is upset that Ben Simmons/76ers jerseys aren't available for purchase for 2-4 weeks. I'm putting my son on eBay.

Whatever. I think we'll all happily take a guy who can do this:
