The cause of death has been determined for a man whose body was found in a suitcase in Tinicum Township.
According to 6 ABC, The Delaware County Medical Examiner determined that 40-year-old Scott Stephen Bernheisel died from blunt force injuries. He also suffered a stab wound to the neck.
Bernheisel's body was discovered by a man walking his dog near Philadelphia International Airport who noticed a foul odor coming from a suitcase along the side of the road. The man opened it to find the body and contacted authorities.

Investigators believe the body was left in the suitcase for 3-5 days. The district attorney's office is calling the death suspicious while the investigation continues.
