Comedian Artie Lange took to Twitter on Friday to tell fans that he was "doing great" after it was reported that he was arrested in New Jersey on drug possession charges last week.
The 49-year-old comedian was arrested Sunday outside of his home in Hoboken after cocaine, heroin and drug paraphernalia were allegedly found on him and in his car.
Lange, the former Howard Stern Show sidekick, tweeted Wednesday that it was him "against the world again" but followed with back-to-back updates Friday afternoon after word spread of his arrest.
Lange has a history of drug addiction.
The comedian confirmed his arrest and called the Hoboken police "great people."

In a recent interview with PhillyVoice, Lange said that he lives to tell his self-deprecating jokes that touches on his drug use, but also often talks about his recovery.
“I’m very, very open about that. My fans are into that I think,” he said.
“They look at me as a guy who overcame and is doing well," he later added.
Lange will later appear in court, NJ.com reported Friday.
