People of New Jersey, if you can't take three steps in your grandparents' garage or attic without crashing to the ground, it's time to reach out to Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz.
The antique-collecting duo of The History Channel's hit series 'American Pickers' is coming to the Garden State to film in early August, according the Asbury Park Press, and they are looking for leads to your discard staging pile.
A release from the show's producer, Cineflex Productions, says Wolfe and Fritz are "on the hunt for interesting characters with interesting and unique items," including the following usual suspects:
vintage bicycles, toys, unusual radios, movie memorabilia, advertising, military items, folk art, vintage musical equipment, vintage automotive items, early firefighting equipment, vintage clothing, pre-50's western gear.
If you're in New Jersey and you have a collection containing the above items, you can e-mail your name, number, address, photos, and a description of your collection to americanpickers@cineflex.com. You can also refer someone else.
Those with the most intriguing haul may wind up on the show to make a sale and send their items to Wolfe and Fritz' Antique Archaeology shop in Iowa.
